Susan Wein
I am a printmaker, a watercolor painter, and an acrylic painter. My work ranges from abstract to semi-abstract with inference. My subjects include flora, landscapes, visual translations of emotional and physical states, and dream imagery. Color is one of my focuses; the freshness and diversity I can achieve with different palettes continually excites me. I try to express my impressions and emotions directly through my work. Some of my work is light and fresh, while many of my pieces explore more introspective or psychological themes. I love to work in series, often making diptychs or triptychs to hang together. I am continually exploring a theme about the physical and emotional aspects of the healing process.
My work can be found in corporations, institutions, hospitals and private collections all over the world.
I have done and am available for commission work.
